Scorer of FC Barcelona's winning goal in the final of the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup in 1996-97. Nicknamed "The Phenomenon", unfortunately Barça fans were only able to enjoy watching him for one unforgettable season, the best season of his career, then his agents pushed him to sign for Inter. His goal in Compostela (12/10/1996) is considered one of the best in the Barça's history. He was hampered by injuries throughout his career. In one season he played both futsal (Social Ramos Club) and 11-a-side football (Sao Cristovao).
