Brother of Òscar and Genís Garcia Junyent, the three played together in just one first team game, the Copa Catalunya final in 17/06/97 Catalunya. He was the last Ajax player to wear the number 14 shirt because it was retired in honour of Cruyff on his 60th birthday. After hanging up his boots he did coaching work.
