As a youngster they added "Dynamite" to his name because he was an explosive forward. Voted best player in the history of Vasco da Gama, the club which he was president of from 2008 to 2014. He is also their all-time top scorer and of the Brazilian Championship (705 /190). He left Barça without having been able to adapt and in his first game back at Vasco he scored five goals ... Working in politics, he was first elected as an alderman for Rio de Janeiro and then was chosen as a councilman for Rio de Janeiro. Later, five times in a row, he has been elected state deputy.
