The generation of young players which he led was named "the leading of Moro" in his honour. He has a street named after him in Zaragoza and another in Trasmoz in memory of his incredible goal in the final of the Cup Winners' Cup in 1994-1995 which gave the title to the Aragonese. After retiring he became a coach.
