Giovana Queiroz came to Barça in the summer of 2020 at the age of just 17 years of age from previous club Madrid CFF. With the Madrid club she made her league debut at the age of just 15, against Barça at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.
Born in Brazil to Brazilian parents, she moved to the USA and then Spain. Curiously enough, she has represented all three countries at youth level.
Giovana Queiroz is a versatile striker, mixing power, pace and technique. Despite her youth she has plenty of experience at both club and international level.
She was part of the first team in the history of the club to win the UEFA Womens Champions League. She also went down in football history by winning the first treble in club history.
