The Club paid tribute to him at the Camp Nou with Marià Gonzalvo on 07/02/62. His teammates called him "The Gypsy." He coached a great number of teams in the Spanish League and the Mexican league. He was Kubalas number two in the Spanish national team and coached the national u18s and u21s teams. He was the soul for many years of the Veterans Association.
